Job Summary
• This role will be responsible in generating and providing timely and accurate reporting insights and analyses to all the business units. The role will design, develop, test, maintain and support Dashen’s Bank data warehouse.
• The role holder will help inform decision-making and solve business problems by converting data into information, selecting relevant data from data warehouses, manipulating large datasets, building decision models and facilitating insightful solutions to complex problems.
• The role holder will also monitor new and emerging systems and technology and make recommendations to the Management Team on purchases, negotiate contracts with technology vendors and suppliers, lead data reporting and system user training while optimizing the return of technology investments

Academic & Professional Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information System, Software Engineering or any other equivalent field
Experience
• At least Six(6) years’ experience of business analysis experience, with demonstrated skills in requirements gathering, modelling and options analysis

Main responsibilities:
Job Summary:

Ensure the effective implementation, reporting and documentation of all project activities.
Major duties and responsibilities
• Participate in planning activities.
• Engaged in annual plan preparation and facilitate quarter and annual reports.
• Coordinate the development of monitoring and evaluation manual;
• Prepare guidelines, tools and other materials to support effective monitoring and evaluation in line with agreed policies, and promote participatory approaches to M&E;
• Ensure that findings and recommendations from internal and external monitoring and evaluation activities are addressed appropriately and systematically;
• Contribute to internal monitoring and evaluation and planning exercises;
• Establish and maintain an accessible record of findings and recommendations arising from internal and external evaluations and monitoring exercises to aid organizational learning and development;
• Participate in organizing stakeholders meetings to improve collaborative efforts for integrated activities for beneficiaries.
• Develop or adopt M&E data collection tools set indicators and conduct the M&E activity according to the plan.
• G. Develop a detailed implementation manual; for M & E of the project.
• Develop and implement a performance indicator that enables to collect and analyze data, and to assess the outcome of the project.
• Promote participatory styles of monitoring and evaluation system by maintaining good relationship with project partners at various levels.
• Identify problem, which may arise during project implementation and bring them to the attention of the project management.
• Make close follow up and ensure that problems are timely solved and give advice as to how the problems affecting implementation can be tackled.
• Prepare supervision schedule to project areas, conduct and prepare reports.
• Produce regular and period project progress reports as may be required and according to the project agreement.

Job Requirements
• Minimum BSc/BA degree in law, human rights, development studies, Social Science, Economics, Monitoring and Evaluation, statistics and other related fields study,
• Minimum 3years of experience on monitoring and evaluation
• Experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning in the project management context
• Data management, visualization and report writing skill
• Analytical, team work and interpersonal skills
• Documentation skills, Negotiation and influencing skills, ability to deliver within tight deadlines, IT skills
• Up-to-date knowledge and experience of data analysis techniques/packages
• Good Knowledge of spoken & written Amharic and English
• 3 strong references (will be crosschecked)
• An in-depth understanding and best practices , in relation to vulnerable groups, including peile in prisons
• Fluent in English

Purpose:
The WASH Intern position is part of the wider Action Against Hunger internship program policy and implementation exercise that promote and offer recent Civil or Water Engineering related graduates a meaningful work experience that would enhance their knowledge, skills, attitudes and employability. By so doing, Action Against Hunger-Ethiopia also gains from the introduction of fresh talent and new perspective to a specific sector projects or team.

Essential Job duties:
The intern is expected to execute and delivery the following activities:
• Support documentation of WASH Program activities including both software and hardware activities database .Update through collecting organizing, filing or documenting regular WASH program data and report.
• Support the preparation and also d documentation of WASH construction design, specification, BOQ and quantifications also contract agreement documentations.
• Assist and follow up construction and WASH item procurement and purchase process
• Assist in the timely submission of APRs, sectoral and cluster based regular updates and reports from field.
• Update construction and WASH Item market price in coordination with Logistic and WASH team at base and capital team
• Assist in identifying needs WASH NFI items relevant to hygiene, participate in the choice of items, targeting strategy, promotion of effective use, and post-distribution monitoring based up on sphere standards and national guideline.
• Assist and participate in reviewing program report, success stories and lessons report and provide necessary input
• Demonstrate progressive learning and engage in continuous self-development path under the direct supervision of his/her supervisor.
• Carry out any additional activity assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements
Required Qualifications

• Fresh Graduate degree or diploma in Hydraulic/ civil/ water Engineering and other WASH related engineering field of study from recognized university.
• Have excellent academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records.
• Must be above 18 years of age.
• Interns must have no medical limitations which would affect their serving in the function(s) expected from the program. He/she must confirm that fit to work, as confirmed by a medical practitioner.

Required Skills & Experience
• Zero years of professional experience.
• Have experience or willing to participating in field-level data collection as part of a feasibility assessment , study or program monitoring and evaluation
• Proficient Knowledge and skill of software like AUTOCAD, Water CAD, EPANET, MS Office(Word, excel and Power Point )- preferred
• Proficient and fluency in English language (Written & Spoken) is mandatory. Local language skill, including Amharic is desirable.
• Ability to take initiative and prioritize multiple tasks as well as self-direct with minimum supervision.
