Job Description
The successful candidates will have skills and experience that meet the following requirements:
General Duties and Responsibilities: He/she is responsible to Marketing and Business Development and planning functions; designs and executes product development, concept note development Marketing, Customer Experience & Service Management ; by feasibility study relationship Management; business analytics ; Strategy & planning; business Performance Management, business improvement and Information management proposal development etc.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to)
• Design and implement product & service strategy and plans, drive execution and track product performance
• Develop and implement marketing, branding & communications strategy, plans and budget
• Design, review, modify, and implement pricing strategy, policy and guidelines
• Coordinates and conducts researches and studies in microfinance services and based on the research findings develops new ideas;
• Supports initiation of new project/business ideas, concept note development preparation of proposals and plans for donors and funding agencies and plays an active role in the implementation;
• Studies and identities new areas and target groups requiring the services of Meklit;
• Systematically monitor customer satisfaction, including regular customer satisfaction survey
• Develop sales strategies, policies and procedures to grow demand for products
• Define sales objectives, targets and annual plan, considering projected market demand, nature of product and customer trends
• Lead and drive strategy, annual plan and initiative development and implementation
• Monitor and track performance against business plan & Identify performance gaps and propose changes
• Analyze internal and external business environment, develop strategic industry, market, stakeholder and customer insight and foresight
• Prepares monthly, quarterly, bi-annually and annually performance report of the Company & department; submits to the Chief Executive Officer

Qualifications:
• MBA/MSc or BA/BSc Degree in economics, marketing, management or related filed and 6/8 years of relevant Experience preferably in MFI

Key Skills and Competencies
• Proven Market research and Report writing skills are desirable
• Excellent communication and partnership management skills
• Extensive Business management experience and good organizational, management and leadership skills
• Both verbal and written fluency in English and knowledge of any other language is desirable
• Ability to work independently and shoulder delegated authority
• Strong technical and analytic capacities and sound judgment
• Team player and strong experience in managing hospitality and resource mobilization
