Purpose Of The Role
• Under the supervision of the IT Coordinator, he/she will organize, & coordinate ERP systems in head office and field sites. Drive the use of technology in the organization, provide effective IT systems, help develop and implement IT including security standards and policies, provide technology support and solutions to meet the needs of the organization. His/her role includes leading team meetings and assigning action items to team members, following up along the way until the deadline for each project. The IT Coordinator acts as a subject matter expert for the team, answering questions and providing guidance for all ERP System projects. Any other employees who use the ERP systems come to the IT Project Officer for troubleshooting issues and other questions. He/She makes sure the ERP systems are functioning properly and helping the business run smoothly.

Key Tasks And Responsibilities
Information technology project officer responsibility:
• To assist with implementing any new systems or procedures which are developed within Environmental Health, Planning, Corporate Safety, Building Control and Local Land Charges to ensure they are communicated quickly and effectively across the Service and to the Customer Services Centre.
• To manage the services website pages, working with ICT and Regulatory Services officers and managers, to ensure that registers and information is up to date and meets industry standards, thus promoting customer self-service where possible.
• To ensure professional staff are supported by responding to day–to-day IT related queries; escalating more complex issues to the Business Support Officer, ICT or software system helpdesks.
• Liaising with the Company’s partners and providers (ERP developers, Web Editor, IT support company and other providers) to ensure that our IT (websites, ERP and other supporting systems software and hardware) are managed, developed, and tested in a coordinated way and any related development projects are delivered to our satisfaction.
• Facilitate communication between business users and developers to ensure that customer requirements are translated to design specifications
• Conducting user testing and analysis to ensure ERP Modules and Websites are configured such that the navigation and overall user experience is easy and positive.
• Trouble shooting ERP Software related issues. Providing short training sessions and guidance to the respective team as needed to ensure that we make best use of our ERP
• Contributing to the main shared team activities within the office Other undefined administrative responsibilities
• Maintaining and updating procedures relevant to the functions and responsibilities of the role.
• Involved in systems administration including: general computer support; upgrades; software installations; license management; server set up and management; network and printer support; deployment of equipment; management of inventories; end user support.
• Prepare simple guidelines, checklists & logbooks to ensure that teammates are able to follow an appropriate maintenance schedule for computers, printers and other communication equipment
• Provide user training on common business applications and use of the Kerchanshe ICT systems, induct new recruits into how to use and retrieve files from server
• Perform any other duties as and when required

Job Requirements
Education, qualifications & other knowledge
• BSc degree or higher in Management Information System(MIS), Information System or other related field
• Certificate of training in Project Management and System Administration
• Cross functional expertise In ERP Cloud Systems
• Professional knowledge of Cloud Computing Technologies
• Project management and planning skill
• Fluency in English both written and spoke

Experience
• 2 to 3 years’ experience within a similar sector
• Experience in drafting and designing requirement analysis for ERP development
• Experience with Google Apps, Ms Outlooks, Share point, ERP systems
• Experience in managing ERP systems

Skills & abilities
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work independently to troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, identify and isolate technical issues
• Able to influence and develop working cultures (in use of ERP systems)
• Commitment to client orientation and working in a structured manner
• Ability to plan and schedule various related activities, detail oriented, dedicated to task and delivery, multitasked

Job Description
Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia (HFE) is a world leading organization committed to the treatment and reintegration of patients suffering from Obstetric Fistula and the training and deployment of qualified midwives to prevent Obstetric Fistula and other child birth injuries.
HFE, which was established in 1974 G.C by Drs. Catherine and Reginald Hamlin, has been caring for the women of Ethiopia for almost 60 years. Including our main Fistula Hospital in Addis Ababa we have 5 regional Hospitals, Rehabilitation and Reintegration center and The Hamlin College of Midwives. We deploy midwives into rural health centers across the country and provide mentoring and other support services to these facilities.
Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia in collaboration with Stakeholders is going to implement a Partnership program called Woreda by Woreda (WbyW); to enable Woredas to be free of obstetric Fistula by ‘2030. The W by W program as a pilot will be applied at Oromia Region, Illu Ababora(Mettu). This W by W strategy will be used to identify historic cases of obstetric fistula and continue to implement quality intervention for prevention of new obstetric fistula cases. For the successful implementation of the WbyW program, HFE wants to employ experienced IT specialist or Information Technology Specialist to be part of this program interventions, trainings, in the areas as per the given job responsibilities.

Major Duties and Responsibilities of IT Specialist includes the following, but are not limited to
• To support the work of the WbyW by managing, maintaining, troubleshooting all IT related services. To ensure the smooth and efficient running of all IT systems in the organization.
• Make sure that the WBW data entry is done according to the specified standard
• Train data entry support staff
• Provide support to the data entry support staff
• Be the first line of service/ support provider for all user support request
• Install and configure LAN , diagnose and solve problems related with network infrastructure
• Supervise the dedicated internet connections and make sure that the internet is always up by communicating with service provider
• Maintain the computer system and make sure that users can access the available applications
• Provide support in troubleshooting of computer, tablet, printer, and scanner and photocopy machine problems of the center
• Provide guidance, direction and mentorship to employees especially on various task duties they may have difficulty performing on computers
• Provide training to users to ensure they are able to competently use computer software and hardware
• Perform routine IT equipment hardware maintenance for the center
• Implement the IT system security policy of the organization to ensure the safety of the data and IT systems
• Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems
• Install and update company software and hardware as needed
• Submit monthly report about IT activities to the IT Manager of HFE
• Report to WBW Team Lead for and administrative issues and the IT Manager of HFE for IT related issues
• Perform any work related duties as assigned

Job Requirements
Education
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or in HIT (health information technology)
Work Experience
• 5 years’ experience in Relevant Areas

• Excellent skill of computer software packages
• Fluent in English, Afaan Oromo, Amharic and other local languages is preferred
