Company Profile
Crown Packaging and Plastics PLC is launching a new company “GUZO COFFEE” that will export coffee products for the international market. The company will be involved in coffee roasting, grinding, packing and other kinds of manufacturing activities to add value to the products. Guzo Coffee is founded on an idea that everyone in the chain should receive their fair share of the proceeds: the coffee farmer, but also the producers. And what could be more honest than creating this value in the country of coffee origin?
We are looking for an ambitious person who shares the idea behind and is ready to work with our international team (Dutch and Ethiopian) and works according to international standards.
Job Description
• Responsible for exporting of coffee products
• Responsible of ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Management of shipments and coordinating documentation & delivery with freight forwarding & clearing agents.
• Tracking parts & prime products movement and lead time from ordering to receiving.
• Managing service providers, transporters, customs agents, port, shipping line, inspection agencies.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers, stakeholders and closely work with team members.
• Ensure that all Procurement and Logistic documents are properly prepared and filed accordingly
• Follow up with a bank for foreign currency allocation as per demand from the company, maintain a good relationship with all banks International departments, and follow up on LC opening, amendment as required, timely shipment and container allocation.
• Manage all local purchases, store and warehousing management and control all property of the company.
• Ensure correct and complete documentation for export and import cargo as per the requirement of various institutions like bank and customs.
Job Requirements
Qualification

• 3- 5 years direct work experience with coffee products
• Flexibility in working hours and availability for emergency call.
• Experience in working with Ethiopian Singe Window system.
• Good understanding of English language both written and spoken
• Well aware of different communication methods
• The will to learn new things and take responsibilities.
• The will to work according to international standards and quality
• The will to (start to) live in Debre-Zeit/ Bishoftu/ or its surrounding
Education Level
• B.A. degree in Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Procurement, Business Administration or equivalent field of studies
Experience
• 3 - 5 years in coffee industry
