Job Description
Cheshire Ethiopia is an Ethiopian Resident Charity and invites qualified applicants for the following posts
Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Lilane Foundation program officer , the social worker is responsible for planning ,reporting, social, psychological and emotional wellbeing of children with disabilities, maintaining up to date data for child empowerment and enabling environment program both in hard copy and electronic working with partner organizations/focal persons

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Become readily and rapidly familiar with the child empowerment and enabling environment program, Cheshire and LF policies, working procedures and guidelines, manuals, tools and formats.
2. Assist the partner organizations implementing the child empowerment and enabling environment program in planning and reporting
3. Make close contact with partner organizations in timely submission of plan and reports
4. Edit partner organization plan and reports, child case histories and provide feedback and technical support for improvement.
5. Facilitate the support of social, psychological and emotional support of children with disabilities
6. Enter partner organization profile, PO assessments, agreements, payments activity and budget plan and narrative and financial reports, children data, child case histories and other relevant documents in to the data system.
7. In collaboration with the accountants facilitate budget payment to partners
8. Assist in the organization and execution of capacity building training to partner organizations.
9. Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of partner organizations program intervention.
10. Provide support in the writing and compilation of annual plan, quarterly, biannual and annual reports.
11. Actively involved in pre rehabilitation assessment, evaluation of child rehabilitation, appliance measurement, fitting and discharge of children from Addis pediatric center.
12. Prepare case histories of clients showing special improvement in the Addis pediatric center. Undertake counseling support for parents/guardians coming to the Addis pediatric center
13. Perform other similar duties and responsibilities assigned to her/him by his supervisor
Required: 01
Residence area: Gurd shoal and surrounding, Megenagna, Jackros, and Summit will be an advantage

Job Requirements
Qualification and required skill
• Advanced computer skill is requirement
• Exposure of data application will be an asset

Experience
• 2 years’ experience in social work, data management and related fields

Work Hours: 8

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
