Job summery
Duties and Responsibilities for the post

• Is a member of the ISD Management along with the Executive Director, and Program Manager.
• Ensures the in-depth management and utilization all finances of the ISD;
• Ensures that all activities and the functions of finance of ISD are being implemented as per respective plans;
• Takes overall responsibility for coordinating the budgetary utilization of ISD in order to build synergy among the operational units;
• Works with the Program Manager to develop the Annual Budget and Activity Plan and follows-up the coordination of activities with the use of the budget by the operational units;
• Follows upISD’s registration requirements with the Charities and Societies Agency
• Follows up the execution of the function of human resources, logistics, secretarial services, housekeeping and security in ISD;
• Manages and directs the administration and financial services for the efficient and effective office operation of ISD;
• Follows-up the implementation of the ISD’s financial and administration system and signs cheques;
• Works with the ISD Accountant to ensure that records are maintained and financial reports are prepared on schedule as required by the financial policy, and refunds for medical expenses and agreed tuition fees according to the Administrative Manual;
• Follows up and oversees thatoffice supplies and equipment including procurement, supply and disposal;
• Follows up an to ensureall office facilities are used properly;
• Follows up that personnel files are maintained and updated including annual leave and sick leave reports
• Leads, motivates, supervises, guides and supports Administration and Finance section members; ­­
• Follows upthe preparation, updatingand the implementation of ISD’s human resource manual;
• Prepares contracts, bids, and consultancy service agreements in collaboration with the Executive Director, Program Manager and operational units.
• Performs other activities appropriate to the job after agreement with the Management and/or as assigned by the Executive Director.

Job requirement
• Education, experience and skill for the candidate
• MA Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance and or MBA with strong experience in accounting (finance management)
• 7 years and above experience in the same field, or BA degree in the same fields with 10 years and above experience
• Excellent knowledge and Experience in Peachtree Accounting
• Very good command in both spoken and written in English
• Notable skills in using computer; Microsoft excel, Microsoft word, Word Access, etc,
• Very good experience in project fund management ( be it in Government or Non-government organization
• Recommendations from previous offices
• Well compiled CV, and
• Other relevant documents
